November 4, 1907-March 1968

Funeral for Dwight Mervin Austin, 60, of Spencer will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday from Warner Chapel in Spencer.

Rev. Gordon VanHoeven will officiate. Burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.

Bearers: LaVon Dotson, Carol Dunn, Wayne Mason, Gary Stover, Harold Sunday, Edward Lundt.

Mr. Austin was born November 4, 1907, to Vern and Lydia Austin at Kadoka, South Dakota. He was an employee of the city of Spencer at the waste treatment plant. He died suddenly Tuesday noon of a heart attack.

He is survived by two brothers, L.V. (Pete) Austin and Loris Austin, both of Spencer and a sister, Mr. W.H. Wintz of Milford.
