Funeral for Max Richard Adrian, 79, of Moneta will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hope Lutheran Church in Everly with Rev. Daniel Cronrath officiating.

Mr. Adrian died Sunday at Spencer Municipal Hospital.

He was born June 5, 1888, in Newminster, Germany, the son of Frederick and Sophia Adrian. He married the former Lena Paulsen, February 25, 1914, in Spencer.

He is survived by his widow; three sons, W.H. of Moneta, Fred of Everly and Marvin of Pacomia, California, and one daughter, Mrs Tom Ellis of Des Moines. Also surviving are several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and two brothers, Carl and Fred, still living in Germany and two sisters in Chicago, Mrs. Emma Meyer and Mrs. Martha Below. His parents and three brothers preceded.

Warner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
