Loretta Madaline (Harris) Cooper
June 3, 1904-January 28, 1973

Loretta Madaline Cooper, 68, of Everly was born June 3, 1904 to William and Lyde J. (Tercey) Harris at Spencer and passed away Sunday, January 28, 1973, at Spencer Municipal Hospital. Last rites were held at Hope Lutheran Church in Everly on Wednesday afternoon at two. Pastor Ronald Fretheim officiated.

Mrs. Cooper was married on July 7, 1923, to Lynn Cooper at Omaha, Nebraska. She was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church of Everly and Golden Sheaf Chapter No. 181 of the Order of Eastern Star of Hartley.

Survivors are her widower, Lynn; four sons, Roger, Gerald and Robert, all of Everly and Franklyn of Great Lakes, Illinois, three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Shirley) Lauck of Buena Park, California, Mrs. Ronald (Winifred) Schoenewe of Everly and Mrs. Robert (Cynthia) Baxter of Primghar; 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, three daughters and a great-grandson.

Casket Bearers; Timothy Lee Cooper, Thomas John Cooper, Russell Lynn Cooper, Lee Allen Schoenewe, Howard Richard Lauck, Danny Lynn Cooper, Mark Andrew Schoenewe, Delbert Shannon Boyles, Ralph Kenneth Herde, Greg Lynn Schoenewe, Robert Michael Baxter, Kevin Wayne Baxter, Jeffery Dale Cooper, Kevin Scott Cooper and Randall Lynn Cooper.

Interment was at Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.
