December 15, 1903-September 1974Funeral for Lynn L. Cooper, 70, of Everly will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Warner Chapel in Spencer.
Bearers; Danny Lynn Cooper, Delbert Shannon Boyles, Timothy Lee Cooper, Thomas John Cooper, Lee Allen Schoenewe and Russell Lynn Cooper.
Honorary Bearers; Howard Lauck, Robert Catic, James Wienga, Robert Baxter, Jeffery Cooper, Mark Schoenewe, Randall Cooper and Kevin Bazter.
Mr. Cooper died Sunday at the Spencer Municipal Hospital.
He was born December 15, 1903, to Orin and Fannie (Baber) Cooper at Dow City, Iowa.
On July 10, 1923, he was married to Loretta Harris at Omaha, Nebraska.
Mr. Cooper was a prominent figure in business in Everly for the past 30 years. He retired in 1964.
He was a member of Columbia Lodge No. 560 AF&AM; York Rite; Shine Fraternal Order of Eagles and Hope Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are four sons, Roger and Gerald both of Everly; Robert of Spencer, Franklin of Belmond; four daughters, Mrs. Howard (Shirley) Lauck of Plasentia, California; Mrs. Ronald (Winifred) Schoenewe of Everly; Mrs. Robert (Cynthia) Bazter of Primghar and Mrs. Leo (Betty) Cooper of Melrose Park, Illinois; 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Gerald Cooper of Knoxville, Iowa and James Cooper of Seattle, Washington.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother; a sister; three daughters; two sons and a great-grandson.
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
