July 4, 1931-March 17, 1978

Funeral for Gerald Lee Cooper, 46, of Everly ws held Tuesday afternoon from Warner Chapel in Spencer.

The Rev. Keith Purscell officiated. Burial was at Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.

Bearers; Dean Annis, Jim Holst, Richard Thiessen, Larry Thiessen, Ray Koenck and Robert Webb.

Mr. Cooper died Friday, March 17, 1978 in an automobile accident.

He was born July 4, 1931, to Lynn and Loretta (Harris) Cooper at Spencer.

On January 28, 1950, he was married to Bernnice Back at Spencer.

Mr. Cooper worked in Spencer until 1955 when he moved to Everly and became engaged in the automobile business.

He was a member of Columbia Lodge No. 560 AF&AM of Everly.

Surviving are his widow, Bernnice of Spencer; two sons, Timothy Cooper of Peterson and Thomas Cooper of Milford; two grandchildren; three brothers, Roger Cooper of Everly; Robert Cooper of Spencer; and Frank Cooper of Belmond, and three sisters, Mrs. Howard (Shirley) Lauck of Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Ronald (Winifred) Schoenewe of Everly and Mrs. Robert (Cynthia) Baxter of Archer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements.

Interment in Lone Tree cemetery
