Vernon Roscoe Cherry
March 24, 1917-March 6, 1975

Funeral services for Vernon Roscoe Cherry, 57, of Everly will be held March 10, 1975 at 1:30 p.m. in the Warner Chapel. The Rev. Wayne Clark will officiate.

Casket bearers: Clifford Fear, Bud Lorenzon, Larry Adrian, Dale Holesen, Don Fear and Denny Berlin.

Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery in Everly. Mr. Cherry died March 6, 1975 in the Spencer Hospital.

He was born March 24, 1917 in Liverette, a son of Roscoe and Vera (Cummings) Cherry. He married Rosie Redenius in Everly on October 9, 1969.

He lived most of his life in the Everly and Spencer areas and was a truck driver.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Cherry of Everly; his wife, Rosie; one son, Charles Cherry of Spencer; two daughters, Mrs. Neil (Deloris) Batey of Raleigh, North Carolina and Mrs. David (Sharon) Stone of Bronson, Florida; two step-sons, Ray Getting of Hartley and Charles Getting of Toledo; one step-daughter, Miss Glenda Getting of Everly and eleven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death of one son.

Warner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
