Amanda Peters Wehde Breitsprecher
March 18, 1892-August 11, 1986

Funeral services for Amanda Breitsprecher, 94, of Everly, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hope Lutheran Church, Everly.

Mrs. Breitsprecher died Monday, August 11, 1986, at the Spencer Municipal Hospital.

The Rev. Roger Hanson will officiate at the service.

Casket Bearers; Dick Kirksey, Frank Patton, Orlin Peters, Wayne Peters, Norman Nielsen, Earl Norton, Robert Block and Jim Mills.

Honorary Bearers; William Hungate, Willard Spangler and William Gibbs.

Burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery, Everly. The Warner Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of the service arrangements.

The daughter of John and Sophie (Wede) Peters. Mrs. Breitsprecher was born March 18, 1892, in Calumet. She received her education in country schools near Everly, and married Albert Wehde on February 21, 1912.

They lived in Everly, where they farmed in addition to owning and operating a John Deere Implement Dealership with R.J. Schoelerman. Mr. Wehde died August 24, 1952.

She married Ernie Breitsprecher on June 9, 1956, and they lived El Cajon, California until 1971. Mrs. Breitsprecher was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church, and had lived at Northshire in Spencer for the past 4 1/2 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include one daughter, Lois Drury of Everly; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Edna Ketelsen of Hartley and Alice Mundt of Spencer.

Interment in Lone Tree cemetery
