Mrs. Thomas Brandt, 51, of Everly died Thursday at Langdon. Last rites were held from St. Mary's Catholic Church of Everly at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday December 3. The Rev. Thomas Munn officiated. Rosary was recited at Warner Chapel in Spencer at 8 p.m. on Monday.
Mrs. Brandt was born September 16, 1923 to Kieko and Mildred (Dye) Tielbur at Sioux Rapids. On January 16, 1944, she married Thomas Brandt at Spencer. She was a homemaker and was employed by Stockmans Club of Everly.
Survivors are her widower, Thomas; three sons, Robert, overseas; Paul of Westfield, Iowa, and Thomas of Spencer; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Freeburg of Spirit Lake; a grandchild; two brothers, David Tielbur of Lake Port, Illinois, and Keiko Tielbur of Davenport; and three sisters, Mrs. Howard (Darlene) Stoermer of Gillett Grove, Mrs. Leora Savage and Mrs. Larry (Doris) Krapka of Hartley. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, David.
Casket Bearers; Boyd Walton, Gus Grover, Keith Riedeman, Ed Monahan, Bill Zeisiger and Royal Johnson. Burial was at Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.
