August 17, 1910-February 1977Funeral for Wade Warner Olson, 66, of Everly was held Saturday morning from Hope Lutheran Church of Everly.
Pastor Roger Hanson officiated. Burial was at Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.
Casket Bearers were Ted Fischer, Harold Eninger, Russell Morfitt, Fred Adrian, Richard Harris and Bert Brock.
Honorary Bearers were; Ronald Harris, Adolph Schoenrock and Leon Harris and Clifford Muilenburg
Mr. Olson died Tuesday at the Spencer Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 17, 1910 to Alex and Grace (Williams) Olson at Vining, Minnesota. At the age of two, he moved with his parents to Parshall, North Dakota, where he received his education. He later worked as a ranch hand for several years in Wyoming and Montana. He moved to EVerly where he farmed until retiring and moving into town in November of 1975.
He was married to Elsie Heuer who died in 1943. He then married Alma Nath of Hartley.
Surviving are his widow Alma; two sons, Steven Wade Olson of Everly and Gary Lee Olson of Rochester, Indiana, two daughters, Mrs. Roger (LeOra Lee) Lageschulte of Seattle, Washington, and Mrs. John (Jeanette) Voste of Emmetsburg; and five grandchildren.
Also surviving are four brothers, L.L. (Dutch) Olson of Duluth, Minnesota; A. (Ted) Olson of Reno, Nevada; Merlin R. Olson of McLean, Virginia, and Reuben Olson of Parshall, North Dakota, and three sisters, Mrs. Virge (Marge) Bartelson of Puyallupl, Washington; Mrs. Maury (Bea) Pisar of Bakersfield, California and Mrs. Glenn (Ruth) Meiers of Ross, North Dakota.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Heuer; his parents, a brother and a son.
