Funeral services for Bryan Rohweder were held Monday, August 27 at the Baumgarten Chapel at Spencer, with Rev. Roger Hanson officiating.

Burial was at the Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly, Iowa.

Bryan Jennings Rohweder, the son of John and Amanda (Jordan) Rohweder, was born December 6, 1897 in Tama County, Iowa. He came with his parents to Everly as a young child and had lived around Everly all his life. He attended country school in Dickinson County.

He worked as a farmer and laborer for many years and had served as Fire Chief of Everly.

He passed away at the Mann Nursing Wing of the hospital in Hartley on August 24, 1979 at the age of 81. Preceding him death were his parents, two sisters, Norma and Verona and one brother, Albert.

Left to cherish his memory are one sister, Mrs. Chris (Alda) Baumeister of Hartley and one brother, John Rohweder of Sutherland, as well as other relatives and friends.

The Baumgarten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
