September 10, 1942-December 20, 1993

Karen Roberts, 51, Greenville died Monday, Dec. 20, at her home.

Funeral services will be held today at 10 a.m., in the Warner Chapel, Spencer, with the Rev. Tonna Parsons officiating.

Casket bearers will Scott Lawson, Larry Salton, Jerry Gross, Steve Lawson, Wyatt Brinkley and Tom Gross. Honorary casket bearers will be John Ryan, Arnold Olsen, Larry Bendlin, Bill Price, John Heuck and Dave Linn.

Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery, Greenville, with Warner Funeral Home of Spencer in charge of arrangements.

Karen Elizabeth Roberts, the daughter of Lorin and Thelma (Brinkley) Lawson, was born September 10, 1942m in Greenville. It was there she received her early education.

On November 18, 1961, she married Daniel L. Roberts in Emmetsburg. Following their marriage, the couple made their home in Greenville, She worked at the UPS in Spencer for a short period of time.

Mrs. Roberts was a member of the Greenville Congregational Church, where she was active with the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her mother, her husband, two sons, Jeffery Roberts and his wife, ZoeAnn of Primghar and John Roberts of Camp Lejeune, N.C.; two daughters, Becky Bisaillon and her husband, Kenneth of Greenville and Jody Myers and her husband, Bill of Curlew; eight grandchildren, three brothers Bill Lawson and his wife, Jo, of Spencer; Mark Lawson and his wife Susan, of Clarkston, Washington and Tim Lawson and his wife Edna, of Greenville; and two sisters, Jeanette Hardersen and her husband, Adrian, of Sioux City and Jackie Peters, and her husband, Bill, of Othello, Washington.
