Funeral Services for Hulda A. Johnson, 81, of Sioux Rapids was held Tuesday afternoon from Sliefert Memorial Chapel in Sioux Rapids.

Pastor Alfred Walck of Linn Grove officiated. Burial was at Lincoln Swedish Lutheran Cemetery at Royal.

Mrs. Melvin Joenks accompanied herself at the organ as she sang "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Children of the Heavenly Father.

Bearers were Gary Grote, Glenn Johnson, Donald Nelson, Pat Phillips, Raymond Wilson and Dale Wischmeyer.

Mrs. Johnson died Saturday, June 5 at the Sioux Care Center in Sioux Rapids.

Miss Johnson was born July 23, 1894, to Gustav and Ida Johnson in Skara, Sweden.

She came to the United States at an early age with her parents and two brothers, Edward and Eric. She received her education at a country school. She was confirmed at Lincoln Lutheran Church, June 13, 1909.

After the death of her mother, she became the homemaker for her father and brothers. She was a member of the Cornell Ladies Aid and a member of the Rossie Women's Fellowship. For the past six years, she had been a resident to the Sioux Care Center.

Surviving are two brothers, Henry of Maynard, Minn., and Rueben of Ada, Minn.; a number of four
nephews and four nieces and a cousin, Mrs. Emma Loe of Royal.

She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers, Eric, Edward, Carl, Marin, Oscar and Bill.
