Funeral services in memory of Emma Henrietta Loe were held at 1p.m. Thursday, October 3, 1996, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Royal. Pastor G. Duane Baun officiated.

Caskets Bearers were Scott Graen, Troy Graen, Jeff Heckroth, Orlin Lundbeck, Jeff Heckroth, Orlin Lundbeck, Laef Lundbeck and Lance Kruse. Interment was in Swedish Lutheran Cemetery at Royal. Warner Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangement.

Emma Henrietta Loe, the daughter of Carl and Ida (Lundbeck) Danielson, was born January 20, 1906 in Royal. Her children years were spent in Royal, where she received her education in country schools and later graduated from Royal High School in 1925. She was baptized on February 2, 1906 at her home and confirmed October 20, 1920 at the Lincoln Lutheran Church in Royal.

Emma married Ernest Kenelm Loe on May 17, 1930 in Royal. She lived in the Rossie/Royal area all of her life. She was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4-H Leader, St. Luke's Auxiliary President, and was active in the Okoboji Bible Camp. Emma had three traits that she will remembered for by her family and friends; hospitality, generosity and good humor.

Mrs. Loe passed away at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home in Cedar Falls, on Sunday, September 29, 1996 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert in 1933; her parents; her husband, Ernest on March 20, 1983; three brothers; Anton, Roy and Theodore and one sister, Anna.

She is survived by one son and his wife, Norman and Rachel Loe of Arkansas; one daughter and her husband, Linnea and Dick Graen of Cedar Falls; and five grandchildren; Scott and Troy Graen, Leah Graen Heckroth, Allison Loe and Melissa Loe Northwick; eight great grandchildren; Amy and Megan Loe, Ryan and Kathryn Graen, Stephaanie and Renee Heckroth and Andrew and Erica Northwick; other relatives and friends
