Morris M. Morgan Dies Friday-(Nov 9, 1967) Morris M. Morgan, 73, of Spencer, IA. died Friday morning at the Spencer Municipal Hospital. Arrangements are pending at the Warner Funeral Home. Survivors include his widow, Norma, a daughter, Jaqueline, Mrs Arthur Baumann, Scottsdale, AZ. four grandchildren, a brother, Hugh, Alahambra, CA. and a sister, Mrs Glen (Mildred) Youde. Burial will be in the Riverdale Cemetery. Mr Morgan was born March 17, 1894 to Owen and Margaret Morgan in Spencer. He was married to Norma Nelson, Oct 24, 1922 at Spirit Lake, IA. He was a veteran of WWI and a member of the American Legion, was on the City Council for 6 years and was a former Riverfront Commissioner and served as county and city council for several years.
