GREENVILLE, Iowa, June 22 (Special to The News-Herald)--Mrs. Mervin D. Raynor of Cleveland, Ohio, sister of S.L. Greene of Greenville and formerly of this vicinity, died Thursday, June 16, 1932, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Due to ill health following double pneumonia which she suffered in December 1931, Mrs. Raynor entered the Farm's sanitarium t Oklahoma City where every effort was made to bring about recovery, but to no avail.

Lyall E. Greene Kaufman, daughter of Jobe and Minnie Greene, was born at Spirit Lake, Iowa, September 27, 1904, and departed this life at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, June 16, 1932, age 27 years, 8 months and 29 days.

When 10 years of age she was adopted by William and Esta Kaufman of Fort Dodge, Iowa, where she made her home until 1926 when she, with her foster parents, moved to Okmulgee, Oklahoma. At the early age of 12 she united with the Congregational church at Fort Dodge. She was affiliated with chapter DJ, P.E.O. of Fort Dodge.

She was united in marriage to Mervin D. Raynor, July 13, 1930, at Tulsa, Oklahoma. In August 1931, she with her husband, located in Cleveland, Ohio, and while here she transferred her right of church membership to the Lakewood Presbyterian church.

She leaves to mourn her untimely departure, her devoted husband, Mervin D. Raynor, her loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Kaufman, three sisters and two brothers, S.L. Greene of Greenville, Iowa; Mrs. Joyce Myers of Long Beach, California, B.L. Greene of Sioux Rapids, Phyllis E. Greene of Minneapolis and Geneva Greene of Long Beach, California.

Funeral services were held in the Friends church at Greenville, June 18, Rev. Frank E. Carpenter, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Liberty cemetery.

A male quartet composed of R.C. Birdsall, Mont. Walker, Kenneth Scott and F.E. Carpenter sang "Rock of Ages" and "When at Last We Say Goodbye." Pallbearers were Glen Mason, Oscar E. Olson, Ross Mills and Aubrey Mitchell of Greenville and Percival brothers of Spirit Lake.

Friends from Fort Dodge, Spirit Lake, Estherville, Spencer, Des Moines and Doon attended the services.
