John Thortsen, 63 years of age, died Tuesday, June 21, at the Clay county farm west of Spencer. Death was caused by apoploxy.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Cobb-Phelps funeral chapel with the Rev. B.J. Trickey, pastor of the First Congregational church, in charge.
