George H. Wilson was born near Plymouth, Ohio, June 19, 1840 where he lived until the age of twenty. He was baptized in the Methodist church at this place and always lived a true and sincere life. He moved to Lisbon. Indiana, in 1860. In 1861 he joined the Indiana infantry and served as orderly until January 1864. He re-enlisted in the 2nd, Indiana Infantry February 14, 1865, and served until the close of the war.February 11, 1864, to Amanda A. --lse and lived in this place until 1869, when they moved to Dallas county, Iowa, living there until 1879. From here they moved to Clay county where they lived on a farm in Lincoln Township for twenty-one years,. They then moved to Dickinson county until ----October when they became residents of Spencer.
He leaves a wife and ten children to mourn his loss, nine of whom were present for the funeral. Those from---were C. M. Wilson, from Su---or
