Mr. Andrew Johnson died last Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the home of his son, Otto Johnson, in Lincoln township, aged 90 years, 1 month and 23 days. The funeral took place at his son's home on Wednesday the 13th, Rev. E. C. Jessup officiating. He leaves one son, Otto Johnson, and two daughters living in Illinois and 31 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren to mourn his loss. He came to this country from Sweden in 1869 and has consequently lived here 40 years. The remains were taken to Altona, Illinois, to be interred by the side of his wife who died ten years ago.
