Died Suddenly
Leo Joy Magnuson, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Magnuson of Lincoln, died suddenly at seven o'clock, Sunday morning, May 19, 1912, after only after a brief illness, being taken on Friday with cerebral meningitis. He would have been nine years of age, June 29, 1912. The funeral will be held from the home Wednesday afternoon in charge of Rev. Pence, pastor of the Christian church. The interment will be at Riverside. Mrs. Lawrence Larson, a sister of Mrs. Magnuson arrived from Walsey, S.D., to be present at the funeral. This comes as a sad stroke to Mr. and Mrs. Magnuson, like Jacob with Benjamin, their "life was bound up in the lad's life." They are now left, as it were, all alone. The light has faded and their joy has gone. But no night of earth is so dark and no sorrow so sore but eternity's morning will bring back the light and make us glad forever, May the Great Comforter be their solace in this sad hour.
