Young Man Dies Suddensly

Fred Adams, who had been in Spencer for about two years, working for the Floete Lumber Co., died quite suddenly Thursday night in Bender's drug store. The cause of his death was heart failure. He was in the drug store fixing up the ticket board for the Grand 'Opera House, putting in the tickets, when without warning he fell forward, and was dead in just a few moments.

Mr. Adams was nearly twenty eight years of age. His father is a prominent business man at Mitchell, South Dakota. The father reached Spencer Saturday morning and took the body that evening to Armour, South Dakota, where the funeral was held Monday.

The deceased was a widower, his wife, having died about four years ago. He leaves a son, father and brother. During his stay in Spencer he made a number of friends, who regret his untimely departure.
