Services for Ella Jeanette Johnson, 102, Spencer, will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Warner Chapel in Spencer. The Rev. Emmanuel Das will officiate.
Casket bearers will be Donald Heikens, Harold Wiemers, Dan Hollander, Harold Reiter, Henry Sonius and Ray Dirksen.
Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer. The Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Johnson died at Longhouse Residence in Spencer on Wednesday.
She was born Sept. 23, 1887, in Germany to Dick and Taatje Cirksena Molter. Her family moved to the United States when she was 5, settling in Kossuth County. It was in the country schools of that county that Mrs. Johnson received her early education.
She married Fred Albert Johnson on Jan. 23, 1920, in Wadena, Minn. Following their marriage they made their home in the Hartley community for a number of years. In 1943, they moved to the home farm northwest of Spencer where Mrs. Johnson was presently making her home.
Mrs. Johnson was a long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hartley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandson, one brother and one sister.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by two sons, Albert of Spencer and Richard and his wife Barbara of Crystal, Minn.; one daughter, Letha Siedsma of Spencer; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Interment in North Lawn Memorial Park
