Asa Logan Hair, 1891-1930

A. Hair, a resident of Clay county for many years, died last evening at the Spencer hospital where he was taken for treatment that morning. His death was caused from complications resulting from ear trouble. He had been ill for about three weeks.

For the past year Mr. Hair had been working on the Dick Winterboer farm eight miles north of Everly and prior to that time he worked on a farm south of Fostoria.

He is survived by his wife and five children, Carl, Herman, Raymond, Howard and Minnie, besides other relatives.

A more complete obituary will be printed in next week's issue of the Reporter. At the time of this writing no arrangements for funeral services had been made.

Funeral services for Asa Hair, a resident of Clay county, who died last Tuesday evening at the Spencer hospital, were held from the chapel of the Cobb Funeral Home at two o'clock last Friday afternoon. Rev. Benj. J. Trickey, pastor of the Congregational church, had charge of the services. The body was taken to Harrisonville, Missouri, for burial.

Prior to his death, Mr. Hair had been working on the Dick Winterboer farm near Everly for about two years. His wife, five children, Carl, Herman, Raymond, Howard and Minnie, besides numerous other relatives and friends, are left to mourn his death.
