ELMER JOHNSON DIED TUESDAY FOLLOWING LINGERING ILLNESS.
Elmer Johnson died at his home on East Third street at nine o'clock Tuesday morning, May 7, 1918, following a two years illness due to chronic paremhymatoius nephritus.
Deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Johnson who reside south of Dickens. He was born in Palo Alto county March 28, 1892 and was therefore 26 years, one month and 9 days of age at the time of his death. He was an industrious young farmer, which vocation he followed as long as his health permitted. He was united in marriage to Miss Edna Dennis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Dennis of this city, who with his parents and other relatives survive him.
Arrangements have been made for the funeral to be held at Ruthven at 2 o'clock on Friday afternoon. Interment will be made in the Ruthven cemetery.
