Mrs. Issaih L. Puckett of Malta, Montana, a former resident of Spencer and Greenville, died last Friday, February 8, at her home following a paralytic stroke, according to word received here Saturday by her son, W. J. Puckett of Spencer. She had been ill only a short time.
Viola Emaline Moriarity, daughter of John J. and Nancy J. Moriarity, was born in Boone, Iowa, February 16, 1864. She was united in marriage to Issaih L. Puckett of Mankato, Kansas, February 1884. To this union three children were born, namely, Miss Mabel Puckett of Malta, Montana, Mrs. Armilda Wetzel and Will Puckett of Spencer.
Mr. and Mrs. Puckett and family lived In the vicinity of Spencer and Greenville for many years but four years ago moved from Spencer to Montana, where they had since made their home.
Besides her husband and children she Is survived by six sisters, Mrs. Sarah Ramsay of Sidney, Montana; Mrs. Alice Ruby of Morristown, S. D.; Mrs. R. Hendrickson of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, Mrs. lone Jones of Spencer; Mrs. R. Stewart of Foley, Minnesota; Mrs. Maude Stough of Haukanson, N. D., two brothers, Will Moriarity of Linn Grove and Truman Moriarity of Greenville, her aged mother, Mrs. Nancy Moriarity of Greenville, eleven grandchildren and thirty-four nieces and nephews.
