Mrs. George Wilkin

The Everly and Royal community was saddened Monday morning when they learned of the death of Mrs. George Wilkin which occurred at two o'clock following the birth of an infant daughter. Funeral services were conducted this Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the English Lutheran Church at Everly by Rev. Hoffman and burial ws made in Lone Tree cemetery.

Clara M. Koep was born in Benton county on December 8, 1897, and at the time of her death was 25 years, 9 months and 23 days of age. She moved to Clay county with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Koep several years ago and settled on a farm near Royal. Later she was united in marriage to George Wilkin of Everly. The little daughter, Clara Marion who survives her mother was the only child born unto them.

Besides her grief stricken husband and parents Mrs. Wilkins is survived by two brothers Barnard and Edwin and two sisters Helen and Elsie, who live at home with their parents and a sister, Mrs. Carl Hanson living at Everly.
