Clarabelle Groves rite Saturday
Funeral for Clarabelle Leona Groves, 63, of Spencer will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday from Warner Funeral Chapel in Spencer. The Rev. Wayne Clark will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
Mrs. Bernard Freeburg, Jr., will sing "The Old Rugges Cross" and "Beyond the Sunset," accompanied by Mrs. William Enderson.
Bearers will be Art Bowles, Gale Johnson, Oliver Hosteng, Kenny Severson, Harold Kabrick and Mark Boyette.
Mrs. Groves died Thursday at her home.
She was born June 4, 1910, to J.O. and Effie Leona Cutshall Davidson at Dickens. On Dec. 26, 1932, she was married to Allen Groves at Spencer.
She attended school in Dickens and was a housewife by occupation, working the past few years in alteration for The Womans Shop. She lived in the Spencer area all her life.Surviving are her widower, Allen; a son, Ronald of Spencer; a brother, Earl Davidson of Ruthven; and three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Viola) Rhodes of Spencer; Mrs. Don (Helen) Maurer of Milford and Mrs. Peter (Bertha May) Austin of Arnolds Park.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
