Allan John Lemaster was born in Clay townsbip May 19, 1882, and died of diabetes at the home of his parents in West Clay, November 27, 1910.

He was a model young man In every way. At an early age he began to fit himself for something better in life. All his spare time was spent in study, and in early manhood he became a teacher in the public schools of the county. Later he took advanced studies and became instructor in the business colleges at Spencer and Sheldon. He was employed in the Citizens bank at this place in the fall of 1909 but was forced to give up the position on account of ill health.

He united with the Church of God about four years ago. Was a member of the I. 0. G. T. at Peterson and a leader of the Epworth League of Willow Creek M. E. church.

He leaves father, mother and one brother to mourn his loss.
