Harry Reeverts, 1889-1919

Funeral services of the late Harry Reeverts were held at the home on January 16, conducted by Rev. A. Dyson. Interment was made in the Dickens cemetery. Deceased died at his farm home in Lake township northwest of Dickens on January 14. Death was due to pneumonia following influenza. He was 29 years, 10 months and 14 days old at the time of his death. Deceased was a son of George and Jennie Meyer Reeverts of near Dickens. He was born March 1, 1889 at Dickens, Iowa. On March 10, 1915 he was united in marriage to Clara Jane Sanderson at Webb and then settled on a farm near Dickens. To this union three children were born, one child having died in infancy. Besides the wife and two children Bruce and Gerhart, deceased is survived by his parents; four brothers, Fred, Ralph, Elbert and Willie; and four sisters, Gilka Reeverts Peck, Mrs. Joe Whalen and Hilka and
Marie Reeverts. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved family.
