ANOTHER VETERAN GONE

Alfred Gloyd, a brother of J.R. Gloyd, of Meadow, G. E. Gloyd and Mrs. D.C. Gillispie, died yesterday at 12:50 p.m. He was at the home of his brother, G.E. Gloyd, in this city, when the death, messenger came. He had been in feeble health for a longtime, but not seriously ill except for a couple of weeks preceding his death. He was a civil war veteran going from Wisconsin, belonging to the same company as D.C. Gillespie, of this city, his brother-in law. He was about 65 years old. The funeral will be held at the home tomorrow, at 2 p.m., in charge of the Masons, and G.A.R. of which he was a member.
