DIPHTHERIA CAUSES DEATH OF SMALL CHILD AT EVERLY ON FRIDAY

Esther Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Wright, passed away at her home near Everly on April 11, 1919. She was born January 15, 1914, making her 5 years, 2 months and 26 days of age at the time of her death, which was caused by diphtheria. Because of the nature of the disease no funeral services were held. Burial was made in the Hagerty cemetery, north of Everly.
