Craddock Rites Held

Funeral for Albert A. Craddock of Mankato with burial at Spencer. He died Aug. 3 at the Veterans Hospital in Minneapolis after a lingering illness.

The son of William Henry Craddock and Sarah Ida Kneer, he was born at Rossie. He had been a longtime Spencer but for the past 20 years had made his home in Mankato.

He is survived by his widow, Sylvia, whom he married Oct. 2, 1948; six daughters, Joalle and Sarah at home, Mrs. Neal Northcutt of West Fork, Ark., Mrs. Paul McCord of Minooka, Ill., Mrs. Wayne Ginger of Everly and Mrs. Larry Lechner of Joliet, Ill.; and one son, Albert, at home. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Eddie of Spencer; three sisters, Mrs. Violet Harris and Mrs. Hazel Janssen of Spencer and Mrs. Mae Summers of Alexanria, Neb.

Mr. Craddock was a veteran of World War II and until his retirement four years ago due to ill health was employed as a steel cutter.
