Evelena Lucille Seaton, 88, of Spencer, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003 at Longhouse Residence in Spencer. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 22 at Warner Chapel in Spencer. Rev. Paul Hansen will officiate the 1 p.m. service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
Casket bearers will be Brian James, Charley Whittenburg, Butch Sierck, Gary Nelsen, Bob Whittenburg, and Harold Anderson.
Lucille Seaton, the daughter of Halley A. and Louise Sargent Davis, was born Feb. 23, 1915, in Sac City. Her childhood years were spent in Sac City, where she received her education.Lucille married Holmes Seaton on Dec. 4, 1934 in Elk Point, S.D. Following their marriage, they moved to Spencer where they lived their entire married life. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer. Lucille was also a member of the Eagle's Auxiliary.
Mrs. Seaton was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; five brothers; and her husband, Holmes on Oct. 17, 1997.
Lucille is survived by two daughters: Yvonne and her husband, Lee, of Clearwater, Fla., and Carol Seaton of Chicago, Ill; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Donna Davis; other relatives and friends.
