Bonnie L. Blaue, the daughter of Ollie and Florence Parcaut Goyette, was born June 2, 1933, in rural Royal, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Royal where she received her education, graduating from Royal High School. Following graduation, she moved to Sioux City, Iowa, where she attended NBT Business School.
Bonnie married Robert Blaue on November 25, 1951, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Royal, Iowa. Following their marriage, they moved to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, from 1952 to 1954, while her husband was in the service. Following his duty in the service, they moved back to the family farm where she lived, worked and raised her family. She loved to cook, sew, knit, play cards, and fish. Most important of all to Bonnie was her family, whom she treasured.
Bonnie passed away at the Spencer Hospital on December 28, 2005, at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, of Spencer, IA; two daughters: Janalee Wakefield and her husband, Charlie of New Brighton, MN, Nadine Peterson and her husband, Jerry of Appleton, WI; one son, Steven Blaue and his wife, Debbie of Pipestone, MN; one sister, Arlene Nelson and her husband, Robertof Arnolds Park, IA; one brother, Robert Goyette and his wife, Phyllis of Spirit Lake, IA; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Interment in Riverside cemetery
