Lois L. Hagedorn, the daughter of William F. and Lucy Gerrard Albers, was born December 6, 1925 in Royal, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Royal, where she received her education, graduating from Royal High School.

Lois married Kenneth Hagedorn on August 27, 1949 in Spencer, Iowa. Following their marriage, they continued to live in Royal, where Lois was a hardworking housewife and full time partner with her husband in farming, where they lived on the family farm since 1950. She was very dedicated to her family providing for them. Lois liked to travel, play canasta and loved to garden her flower and vegetable gardens.

Mrs. Hagedorn passed away at the Spencer Hospital in Spencer, Iowa on Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; one brother and one grandson.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Rural Sioux Rapids, Iowa; two daughters: Lucinda and her husband, Clifford McClellan of Temple, TX and Susan Hagedorn of Fort Dodge, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, November 9, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Royal. Rev. Gary Panko will officiate. Burial will be at Willow Creek Cemetery in rural Royal, Iowa.
