George Winterboer, 1888-1962

Geo. Winterboer Services Held Wednesday

Mr. George Winterboer of Spencer, aged seventy-four years, passed away Saturday morning, April 7, at the Spencer Municipal Hospital where he had been a patient since Tuesday of the same week. Mr. Winterboer was a life long resident of the Everly community where he farmed until 1951, when he retired and moved to Spencer, Iowa.

Immediate survivors are four daughters: Miss Eva Winterboer of Arthur, Iowa; (Hanna) Mrs. Ray Carter of Worthington, Minnesota; (Dorothy) Mrs. Arthur Heerde of Archer, Iowa and (Esther) Mrs. Gene Eno of Russelville, Arkansas; Three sons: Mr. Raymond Winterboer of Brewster, Minnesota; Mr. Marvin Winterboer of St. Paul, Minnesota and Mr. Warner Winterboer of Springdale, Arkansas. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, Three brothers Henry and Conrad both of Everly and Dick of Spencer and two sisters (Alta) Mrs. George Beving and Mrs. Bilda Meyer, both of Spencer.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, April 10, 2 o'clock from the First Reformed Church north of Everly.

Interment was made in the First Reformed Cemetery.
