Services Held At Spencer For Mrs. Petersen

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Petersen long time resident of Everly, were conducted Saturday afternoon, February 10,1962, at 1:30 o'clock from the Warner Funeral Chapel in Spencer.

Rev. Daniel Cronrath of Hope Lutheran Church in Everly officiated at the service. Music was provided by Mr. Tom Shumate of Spencer who sang "Beyond The Sunset" and "The Old Rugged Cross". He played his own accompaniment.

Serving as pall bearers were: Mr. Marvin Petersen, Mr. Dale Scharnberg, Mr. Harlan Krambeck, Mr. Vernon Krambeck and Mr. Wade Olsen.

Interment was made in Lone Tree Cemetery near Everly.

OBITUARY

Anna Nath Petersen was born August 1, 1871 in Schleswig and Holstein area to Mr. and Mrs. John Nath. On March 1, 1892 she was married to Mr. D. P. Petersen at Everly, Iowa. To this union three children were born. The family lived on a farm four miles north of Everly. In the year 1916 the couple retired and moved into Everly where Mr. Petersen passed away January 26, 1940. Mrs. Petersen continued to live in her home in Everly, but due to ill health, she made her home the past year with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Sierck in Spencer. She passed away Thursday morning, February 8, 1962 at 9:45 o'clock in the Spencer Municipal Hospital.

She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Sierck of Spencer, Mrs.Bertha Krambeck of Westminister, Colorado, one son. Mr. John E. Petersen of Everly, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Also a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her presence.
