Charles Rice

Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1908, Chas. Rice died of dropsy, after a lingering illness. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon with services at the M. E. church and interment at the Everly Cemetery. He was born on May 15, 1856, in Cedar county, Iowa, and came to Clay county in 1886. He leaves a wife and 1 child, also a mother, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
