Jesse Campbell Dies Thursday

Funeral for Jesse J. Campbell, 83, of Royal, who died at his son's home near Sioux Rapids Thursday morning, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Lightle Hayes Funeral Home in Spencer.

Bearers will be Francis Putnam, Darwin Esterthem, Walter Bodhe, and Lawrence Evans.

Mr. Campbell was born on Sept. 29, 1883, at Fairbank, IA and lived most of his life in Oelwein before moving to Marathon for two years. He moved to Royal in May of 1966.

Survivors include his widow, one son, Donald, Sioux Rapid; a daughter, Betty Beck of Veroqua, Wis., a brother, John of Oelwein and two grandchildren.
