Services for Clarence Edward Neff, 94, of Osceola, who died Tuesday, November 17, 1987 at Clarke County Hospital, will be held Friday, November 20 at 2 p.m. at Kale Funeral Home. The Rev. Neville Clayton of Osceola will officiate at the services with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola.

Mr. Neff was born May 20, 1893 in Clarke County, the son of Harvey Edward Neff and Charity Ann Adams Neff. He married Ethel Mae DeLong on August 15, 1817 in Osceola. He was a farmer. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Osceola and the First Christian Church, Osceola.

Survivors include his wife, Mae Neff of Osceola; daughters, Mildred George and husband, Leland and Dorotha Foland and husband, Arben, Osceola, Aleta Dale McDaniel and husband, Nelson of Bethany, Missouri, Oma Crabb and husband, Harold of Williamsburg, New Mexico and Edith Ann Neisemier and husband, Clarence of Thayer; son, Lowell Neff and wife, Irene of Osceola; brother, Marion Neff of Valley Center, California; and sister Eula Yates of Council Bluffs; 11 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Neff, Golda Diehl and Ruth Neff; two brothers, Willie Neff and Floyd Neff; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
