Services Sat.Floyd Davis died Thursday, October 5 at the Clarke County Hospital at the age of 83. Services were held Saturday, October 7 from the Webster-Kale Funeral Home with interment at the Bethel Chapel Cemetery.
Floyd Davis was born September 2, 1889 at Lacona, Iowa and was the son of Charles and Sarah Wheeler Davis. He attended schools in Clarke County and was united in marriage to Mae Poush February 2, 1910. Three children were born to this union.
Surviving relatives include daughters, Darlene Kearney and husband, Lilbert of Des Moines; Alma Rees and husband, Warren of Anamosa; Arden Davis and wife, Edna of Osceola; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
The 3:30 p.m. services were conducted by the Rev George V. Neal of Osceola.
