Funeral Sunday for Glen Mackey
Life Long Resident of Clarke County Died Thursday at 56

Funeral services were held in Osceola Sunday for Glen Lee Albert Mackey, 56-year-old resident of Clarke county all of his life, who died Thursday morning at the Osceola home of his sister, Mrs. Miles Timmons. He had been ill with a heart condition for some time.

Rev. George Pennington, pastor of the First Methodist church, conducted the services Sunday afternoon in the Webster Funeral Home. Burial was in the Young cemetery at Truro.

The son of Ora and Ollie Fisher Mackey, he was born Aug. 9, 1905, at Woodburn. He was educated in the Clarke county schools and had been a farmer and trucker in this area all of his active life. He had never married.

Surviving are his two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Timmons of Osceola and Mrs. Verl Sanders of Chariton; an aunt, Elizabeth Lamb of Winterset, and an uncle, John Fisher of Weldon.
