At seven o'clock Thursday night occurred the death of Charles Tarlton, at the home of John Welcher, 305 South Walnut street, Creston. He was born on February 28. 1866, and his death was caused by consumption. He was a member of the Christian church. The services were held today at 10 o'clock at the home of Mr. Welcher, conducted by Rev. Ingrain, of the Christian church.
The remains were taken to Osceola for interment. — Creston Gazette

The body was brought to Osceola Saturday accompanied by his grandfather, George Tarlton. and interred in Maple Hill cemetery The deceased leaves a son of ten years who makes his home with his grandfather John W Hall, in this city
