October 9, 1956 , page 7Mary Susanna Schaff, daughter of John and Elizabeth Smull, was born March 1, 1882 at St Charles, Iowa, and passed away October 6, 1956, at the Clarke county hospital at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 5 days.
On April 12, 1899 Anna was united in marriage with John Schaff. To this union were born three sons, Lyle of Osceola, Ernest who died at the age of eight years, and Kenneth of Murray. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Schaff, in 1945.
She is survived by her son Lyle and wife Bertha of Osceola, her son Kenneth and wife Freda of Murray, one sister, Victoria Jackson of Kansas City, Mo., and a brother, George Smull of Baker Oregon. She also leaves 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was a member of the Rebekah lodge in Murray. She attended the Methodist church. Services, under the direction of Watts Funeral Service, were hold at the Murray Methodist church, Monday, October 8, with Rev. Lacey Thompson officiating. Burial was in the Lorimor cemetery.
