October 9, 1980 , page 10Funeral service for George Rilea of Osceola was held at 2:00 Wednesday. October 8, Rev. Richard Els conducted the service from the Webster Kale Funeral Home with interment in Maple Hill Cemetery.
George Aaron Rilea. age 69, died at the Clarke County Hospital Monday, October 6. George Aaron Rilea was born in Clarke County, Iowa November 20, 1910, the son of Aaron Hahn and Sylvia Mae Swabb Rilea.
He received his education in the Decatur County schools and December 2, 1944 was united in marriage to Freida (Scotty) Johns in Des Moines, Iowa. They were the parents of one son.
He had been in the seed business, was an Allis Chalmers dealer and was a realtor for the past 16 years. He was a member of the Realtors Associations, State and National and South Central Board of Realtors, and the Osceola Eagles #3495.
He is survived by his wife, Freida (Scotty) Rilea of Osceola, two sisters, Veda Hall of Indianola and Maye Thomas of Ankeny. He was preceded in death by his parents, son and sister, Vera Beeman.
