Funeral services for Aaron Hahn Rilea were held Saturday, April 22 from the Webster-Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. He died at the Leisure Manor Nursing Home April 19, 1972. The 1:30 p.m. services were conducted by the Rev. Paul Lucky with interment in the Maple Hill Cemetery.

Aaron Hahn Rilea was the son of Aaron T. and Hannah Chew Rilea, born May 27, 1879 in Clarke County. During his early life he was engaged in farming and later owned and operated a grocery store. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church and was united in marriage to Sylvia Mae Swabb.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Sylvia; parents; daughter, Vera; one grandson; and two great grandchildren.
Surviving relatives include: son, George and wife, Scottie of Osceola; two daughters, Veda Hall and husband, Charles of Des Moines; Maye Thomas and husband, Nile of Ankeny; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and sister, Jennie Homewood of Thayer
