REX ALLEN WRIGHT

Rex Allen Wright, son of Alva Kermit Wright and Irene Alice Lowe Wright, was born June 27, 1952, in Des Moines and died of respiratory failure June 12, 2000, at the Clarke County Hospital in Osceola. He was 47.

He was a lifelong resident of Woodburn and attended Osceola schools.

He had worked for the Seed & Grain Systems in Truro as a welder, as a heavy equipment operator in construction and for the railroad.

Mr. Wright loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and grandparents.

Mr. Wright is survived by two sons, Travis Wright and Tracey Wright and Vicki Lowe, all of Woodburn; three daughters, Nicki Vander Veer and her husband, Jeff Vander Veer, of Knoxville; Tonia Coe and her husband, Chip Coe, of Woodburn and Michelle Conger and her husband, Sam Conger, of Centerville; five grandchildren, Alex and Alyssa Vander Veer of Knoxville, Jarrod and Bradly Coe of Woodburn and Nicholaus Conger of Centerville; two sisters, Marcella Short and her husband, Rick Short, of Osceola and Teresa Dixson and her husband, Calvin Dixson, of Lucas; an aunt, Viola Evans of Chariton; other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were June 14 at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, the Rev. L. Duane Churchman of Osceola officiating. Honorary bearers were Alex Vander Veer, Alyssa Vander Veer, Jarrod Coe, Bradly Coe and Nicholas Conger. Interment was in the Woodburn Cemetery.
