Ronald Wright

Ronald Keith Wright, son of James Kenneth Wright and Mildred Wright was born July 9, 1944 at Osceola, Iowa, and departed this life Oct. 25, 1958 at the age of 17 years, 3 months, and 16 days.

He attended the Woodburn and the Osceola schools. He was affiliated with the Methodist church, his faith was in God and his Son, loyal to home and loved ones. He is a member in the family of 4 children who spent his short life in the vicinity of Woodburn.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his father and mother, two brothers, Gene and Russell Deane, one sister, Mary Lou Mason, all of Woodburn; two sisters-in-law, Darlene and Marie Wright of Woodburn, four nephews, and a number of aunts and uncles.

Those who preceded him in death were his grandparents, Mr. Alec Wright and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Miller.

He will be greatly missed in the home by the near relatives, the community, and all who knew him through his active life. The community at large sympathize and are greatly disturbed by his untimely death. Sorrow is no respecter of persons.

Funeral services were held at the Woodburn Methodist church, Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1958, at 2 p.m., Rev. Elmer Clark of Woodburn, officiated with interment in the Woodburn cemetery. Webster Funeral Home was in charge of service.

Note: The headstone is inscribed with the year of birth as 1941 and the obituary states year of birth as 1944.
