Funeral services were held Sunday for Mrs. Nellie L. Saddoris, 44-year-old resident of Clarke County for most of her life, who died Friday at the Clarke County Hospital. A victim of cancer, Mrs. Saddoris had been ill for several months. Rev. Warren Hile, pastor of the Osceola Christian church, officiated the services held in the Webster Funeral Home. Burial was in the Greenwood cemetery here.

The daughter of Elza and Stella Blood Swartzlander, she was born Dec. 13, 1914 at Milo. She was eduated in the Warren county schools but had been a resident of Clarke county for about 30 years.

She was united in marriage to John Reynolds at Osceola and he preceded her in death. One son was born to that union. On March 5, 1952, she married Henry Saddoris at Leon.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Max Reynolds of Murray; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elza Swartzlander; three grandchildren, Debbie, Johnnie and Patty Reynolds; two sisters, Edna Crawford of Murray and Margaret Snider of Winterset, and one brother Elmer Swartzlander of Indianola.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and one sister in infancy.
