March 30, 1948 page 1Comittal services for David A Beatty of Lincoln, Neb., who died Tuesday, March 23, were held from the Webster Funeral Home Friday at 2:00 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Lloyd Latta of the First Methodist church. Burial was at Maple Hill cemetery. Regular funeral services had previously been held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Wadlow Mortuary in Lincoln with the Rev. L. E. Mason of Western, Neb., officiating.
David Albert Beatty, son of William and Margretta Beatty, was born at Garden Grove, Iowa, on July 13, 1868 and died in Lincoln,
Nebr., March 23, 1948.Most of his younger life was spent on a farm near Osceola, Iowa. In 1916 he moved to Lincoin, Nebr., where he has since made his home. He was a traveling salesman for tho Challenge Co. for a number of years but for the last few years has been retired and lived at his home in Lincoln.
He was married to Minnie Saddoris March 21, 1893. To this union was born two daughters, Pauline Marie and Dorothy Marguerite.
His wife and daughter Pauline preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn, his daughter, Dorothy, and one nephew, Wadsworth Beatty
of Des Molnes, Iowa and a host of friends and neighbors. He was a member of the Methodist church and also the Madonic lodge.
