Minnie Dell Saddoris, daughter of Margaret and Henry Saddoris, was born August 10, 1868 on a farm north of Osceola, Iowa. She was the youngest of a family of twelve children and all except two brothers have preceded her in death. She grew to young womanhood in Clarke County and for nine years taught school in the same county.

On March 21, 1893 she was united in marriage to David Albert Beatty. To this union were born two daughters, Pauline Marie who died February 11, 1916 and Dorothy Marguerite who with her husband survives her. In 1916 she and her family moved to Lincoln, Neb., where she has made her home since. She died at 2:30 February 10 at the St. Elizabeth hospital in Lincoln, Neb. Besides her husband and daughter she leaves two brothers, Enoch and Lincoln Saddoris, many nieces and nephews and scores of friends.

Services were held at the Webster Funeral Home Saturday, Feb. 13. Services were conducted by Rev. Frank Jacobs. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
